Tasty Tunes
I transformed MOTAT's Food Truck Round up into Tasty Tunes, a colourful night time market that celebrates NZ Music Month with music, multicultural food, while also sharing MOTAT's historical technology. The event has been rebranded to cater specifically for young adults and families who rarely visit museums.
August 2023
MOTAT's data showed that their food truck event appealed to an older audience while young adults called it "just another market." My research highlighted the youths three main needs; Live music and food combo (especially considering it was NZ Music Month), an energetic atmosphere (not a museum focused event), and unique visuals that stand out from other local events.
I created a look that combined street party fun with tech nostalgia. Using illustrations of hand drawn food, music and technology to create a light hearted feel. Along with the dusky colours to complete the night time vibe.
